Question for Those Who Collect Sports Stuff

Fri May 15, 2009, 8:16 PM
I've got a weird question for anyone who does. When I was about 13 I was a huge NHL fanatic. I used to wear the jerseys all the time (not the heavy sweaters like the players, but the lighter jerseys). Mom recently found all those jerseys in the storage unit and I sure as the sky is blue can't wear them anymore! So I want to sell them off. One of the guys I work with said a few of them might net me a good price if I do. Obviously won't retire on them or anything, but enough to maybe buy a box of ammo . Here's the problem. I haven't the slightest idea how to find values or how to sell them. Can't use eBay, I was kicked off for trying to sell a holster about a year ago. Anyone have any idea how to start, especially finding values?

They're all obviously older team logos on the jerseys. Some have names and numbers, some don't. The ones that do, a few have them done correctly and some were just screen printed on (I think only two were done correctly, my King's jersey with Gretzky's name and number and my Penguins jersey with Lemieux's name and number). I have every single jersey from every single team that existed in 1993-1995, including some that don't exist anymore or were moved.

Anyway, sorry so long. Can anyone advise me on getting a price to sell them at and how to sell them? Thanks!
